Inviting Community Members

Want to spread the word to the Alberta Avenue district community? There are several community leagues in the area that will share events through their e-news or social media. Please note, being included in a enews or social media is never guaranteed. It is important to understand most community leagues are run by volunteers.

If you’re planning a milestone event such as an opening or anniversary and want dignitaries to attend, they can be invited by via email invitation. Please note, they typically require a minimum of two weeks notice.

  1. If you have a Facebook account, create a Facebook Event. This is an easy way to share the details of your event.

  2. Tag us @AlbertaAveBA in your posts so we see them and can share.

  3. Use a simple graphic with only the most important information in the image.

  4. If you’re not sure what to write, tools like ChatGPT can be great starting points.

  5. Free platforms like Canva are great for creating social media posts.
